beautiful place....but sales have gone down, attendance also..maybe because the ceo/owner isn't watching the flock! ....I use to be a loyal Bears fan...but when you can't get anybody on the phone, can't order or buy merchandise on line because site is not working, you don't even advertise properly (like on tv) ...Do like the New Jersey Jackels... 20% off merchandise on game day,, and lower food and drink prices like they do....that's some of the reasons nobody comes the game anymore... and I am now a Jackel"s fan! There are ALOT! of unprofessional people not doing their jobs anymore...from the TOP TO THE BOTTOM! let's get it together and maybe I'll come back... born and raise in Newark.

I have attended three Newark Bears games at Riverfront Stadium in the past two weeks. The stadium is easily accessible from anywhere in Northern Jersey, even NYC. Plenty of safe $5. in garage parking 100 ft from entrance. Close to all Mass transit too. Entrance fees are $ 10. Adult, specials for children and seniors. All food, drinks and beer are available reasonable prices
The Stadium has Camden Yard design. From what i understand Yankee Rick Cerone had a hand in it. The old brick face replicates the ballparks of years past and brings you back to a time when baseball was played for the love of the game. The venue is pure baseball at it's best. The Newark Bears have real Baseball Spirit!
I highly recommend taking in a game there with the whole family (without going broke). The Yankees have seen the last of me, I'm now a Season Ticket Holder with the Newark Bears at Riverfront Stadium. Go Bears!

Unless you are a very serious fan of a particular team, this is a great chance to experience baseball up close and personal for a very small investment.

The Bears/Eagles stadium is extremely accessible by car, train and light rail in a modern, safe neighborhood a block from I280 and the Broad Street rail station. The light rail runs past the door connecting Broad St and Penn Stations. There's also a parking deck right next to it which costs $5, less than 100' from the gate. Tickets are $10 and right now you can go on a weeknight and sit very close to the action.

Food prices are very reasonable for a venue like this ($3-$6 beers, $5 sandwiches, etc.). We did not eat anything but our friends had hot dogs and hamburgers and they seemed fine if unremarkable.

There were quick activities between a lot of the innings (quizzes, races and stuff) to break it up a bit and keep the kids entertained. There's also a play area out past right field.

The stadium is modern and very clean. Available for groups are a patio area on the second deck as well as private suites/boxes.

Definitely a bargain and a great way to give your family a night out without taking out a mortgage. This was our first venture into area minor league ball and we will definitely be back.
