Went in and trying to get a quote. One sales person said hello and after we told him we were just looking he went back to the front desk talked to his coworker for the entire time when we were there. Another sales person was on his cellphone playing games..he had his game on the cell's speaker so I can hear it...Really??? They really missed a chance to sell a car because we are going other VW dealer.

Less than stellar... The sales rep is pushing me to buy the new gti, and wasn't able to answer my questions about the new gti. How am I going to purchase something when you don't even know your own product? Sadly to say, the transaction ended when he wasn't able to produce a better answer than "I don't know".

Thanks Evelyn for an easy and pleasant transaction. Even though we dealt on the phone, I felt like family when I arrived with my wife and daughter to pick up our new Passat. And another thanks to Mr. Albanes for trying very very hard getting us out of there in a timely fashion. You both went above and beyond. Little Isabella will be driving safely. Thanks again, Mike.

I went to Bayside Volkswagen because I received a few phone calls soliciting a trade-in special so I figured it wouldn't hurt to go in and check things out. Little did I know I'd be driving away with a new car a few hours later! The sales team was not too agressive in recommending add-ons although they did make good suggestions such as the lojack and extended warranties which I purchased. The whole process was practically effortless on my part. I'm glad John Chong was my salesperson...he helped pick the right car for me based on my preferences and was very knowledgeable when demonstrating all the features in the car after the purchase was complete. Love my new 2012 Golf! If there was a six star rating I would pick that :)

Deception and lies. Don't trust anything they say or buy anything that day. I feel like a dupe for stating what I would now consider obvious. Verify! Everything! Just because they show you their "invoice price" doesn't means its an invoice price. Just because they tell you something is MSRP, don't trust that it is the MSRP.
With my experience, the numbers all turned out to be fictitious. Any discount they offer you to make the deal is a lie. Don't sign ANYTHING unless unless you get it it in writing too, as they will tell you that they will give you 0% financing then tell you that the "bank refused" even though your credit is excellent AFTER you purchase the car.
I've read the Yelp horror stories about this dealership, but thought it was just a few bad experiences, but the whole lot are ethically challenged amoral liars, from the salesman to his cohort manager to the odd ADDITIONAL saleswoman that tries to sell "premium" supplemental service agreement for $200/mth OR just the "standard" for $90/mth -which based on other reviews is nothing more than a contract to pay more money and still deal with crap service.
AND... to make things worse, they will try to dump their test mobile on you.
