Great new restaurant in Hoboken. Excellent food and overall I'd recommend it. Could be a great spot for a party or dinner overlooking the Hudson. Parking and service could be improved.

I would've loved to have given my thoughts based on the merits of food, service, decor, etc. But we were never given that opportunity. Be sure to confirm your reservation yourself before going there, because there's a good chance they'll lose it. Do not rely on the restaurant. My wife and our family wanted to try this place. We made reservations for 8 for Easter brunch after church a full SIX days before. Took down our first, last name, and my wife's phone #. They said were were confirmed. But we called on Easter morning to see if it was possible to add one more to our party of 8. They tell us our name is not in the system. No first, last name, or phone #. They asked us if we got a call the night before. We said no because we weren't told we'd get a call when we made the reservations in the first place.

We were not even afforded the opportunity to speak to a manager regarding the situation. The only response garnered over the phone after stating that we would be writing a bad review was that they were full, and that our name was not in the system. The implication felt like we were lying, and that because they were full, that we were mistaken somehow.

Just to make sure we we didn't get mixed up, we even checked our outgoing calls, and yes, we did call the restaurant 6 days before, on Monday, to make the reservation. Highly disappointed in such disorganization, especially for a holiday brunch.

Maybe we'll try again at some point, I don't know. But at this very moment, this stands as my review of the organization of the restaurant.

This new hip spot puts jersey city on the culinary map! Industrial meets chic venue accompanied by the noteworthy views of the NYC skyline makes Battello the new hit spot for Spring/Summer 2014! If you haven't yet paid a visit, it is about time you do.

I have been for dinner, brunch, drinks and see the back event space. The view cannot be beat, the food is amazing and the décor is stunning! I will be back :)

Good restaurant by Chef Ryan. The food was delicious but the service was a little slow. I would recommend this place but I still like his first restaurant, Fascino, a bit better. Battello is new and I'm looking forward to seeing what else Chef Ryan comes up.
