If I could rate this as less than one star I would, The owner Dennis and his wife Sharon are extremely cheap and uncaring. I would never ever give them any business. And by the way , The wig that Dennis wears does not fool anyone, either he set the wig industry back 20 years or there is a bald poodle out there. Bargain auto was THE worst experience in my and many other peoples lives. They also own a Best buy auto about 5 miles away in Avanel and yes its another rip off used car lot.

I went to this place for a rattling noise and was told that it was my brakes. got my brakes done and Dennis called me up and said that I needed so much more work to my brakes. It needed calipers hoses and emergency brake cables. The bill was $1700 on my Honda Accord. when all was said and done. I paid it but I was feeling unsure. Later that day I told my husband about what work was done to my car and my husband told me he had all of that same exact work done at Firestone about 8 months prior and was charged half of the price. My husband showed me the bill. When I got my car back the noise was still there. My original problem was not fixed. This Dennis man does not do honorable and trust worthy business and is also very rude. I do not recommend Bargain Auto of Linden NJ. BBB. This company should not be in business!!!

This business is a Fraud with Wages. It has been reported to Better Buisness Bureau, FTC, and now going to the State for Wages and Hour. I am an ex employee, although i was there a week an a half before being let go or left. I still havent been paid and has called with messages, now it has been reported. Do not reply to the listings on Craigslist, if still posted. The owner seems nice but he is two-faced liar and a cheat. I saw how he runs his shop and along with the other location he has also. Yes, it seems like i am an irate ex employee but to the people out there who are looking for work, this is a warning. Do not get taken advantage of by them.

It is unfortunate when you have a buisness run like this one is. Although I was never employed by Bargain, I do know for numerous people how deplorable a boss this gentleman is. He has shown himself to be 2 faced and to treat people with 0 respect. The reason you can stay in buisness and actually have people work for you, is because you starte 20+ years ago. But I hate to break it to you it is not 20+ years ago anymore. As for all those years he may have the experience to do good work, but you are also over priced. If you want them to work on your car that is your choice. But never work for this man if you know whats good for you.

Had to go get some work done on my car. The owner gave me a good price, and the work was done quickly (might have been an hour at most) and I'm definitely satisfied with the work/service. Would definitely recommend this place.
