If you haven’t been here you should run to taste their food! After eating some of the best Ethiopian food in Washington DC, this is the best place in NYC to have authentic Ethiopian cuisine. Very casual but the waiters are super friendly and happy to suggest a dish or a beer. Excellent place for a group and usually reservation is unnecessary.

Authentic Ethiopian food in the East Village. Great, cozy no-frills atmosphere with friendly staff. Best to go with the group plate options where you can try a few different dishes. The tibs (spiced meat pieces) were delicious and so was the injera (the sponge like bread used to eat with).

Great spot to come, spend time and enjoy dinner.

Friendly atmosphere with fine Ethiopian style food. The combo plates, meat, vegetarian, or some of each, are the way to go. The chicken and lamb dishes are amazing. Great place to go with friends.
