It was our first time renting a car with Avis. The SUV in was good condition, and the staff did their job quickly at pickup and return. Only downside was the car's windshield washer was working poorly. The staff was apparently aware of that issue because they ask me about it when I returned the car (before I mentioned anything to them).

I agree with the other reviewer - Nick is extremely courteous and always a pleasure to deal with. He really goes the extra mile!

Staffs greet customer with smile. I have visited this site for more than 5 times and car pickup is usually fast and efficient.

Out of all of the rental car locations in the Upper East Side, not a one beats Avis. For the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the office and the cars, and the overall experience. Even if it costs a bit more, I always try to rent from this Avis location.

This was the easiest and most enjoyable car rental I've had in twenty years. The agent Brittany was kind and courteous and dare I say it - friendly! She helped me amend my order to save money and the valet/guard retrieved my car promptly. I have nothing negative to say except that the prices are about market rate which are too high as far as I'm concerned. But I might just be an old fuddy duddy. But to Avis'credit they accept many coupons and discount offers... more so than their counter parts. Thumbs up.
