Ladies as the desk were pleasant. Only one receptionist gave me any issue. I would use this office again.

I have been a patient of this group for 48 years. Suddenly the office is high tec...2 flat screened tv's, fishtank,,check in Kiosk's. Oh and the price went up, but of course. I even took my kids there ,. Suddenly in 2015, patient's are their last priority. 2 days waiting for a call back on test results, Still don't have them. I would suggest to0 anyone thinking of going here ...DO NOT. Find a Dr that returns calls. Cares about the people they are suppose to be caring for . After all ..you are paying top dollar., Sadly after all these years, I am doctor shopping . All because I need to know what is wrong with me,,,,

DO NOT go to this clinic!

I've been going here for years and recently it has gotten worse. Wait times are very long (waiting over an hour once) even though it is a fairly small clinic. The staff attitude is meh/just going about their workday.

Recent story:
I went to my pharmacy in the morning to pick up pain medication but the pharmacy said they didn't get my prescription from Avenel. I tried to call and speak with someone at Avenel but was on hold for 15 minutes so I just left and decided to go back later. I called Avenel at home and they said they would fill the prescription and it would be ready in 30 minutes.. It's now evening time (6:00pm) and I go back to my pharmacy to find that the pharmacy still didn't get the prescription. This has never been a problem before up until today.

Disappointed. =/

Pathetic service. No regard for patient. The doctor's office was supposed to call me about the result of a blood test. The blood work results came in and yet got no call. Followed up in the morning. Was told the blood work results are in and the doctor is in too. So was told doctor/nurse will call. Waited till p.m. called again ( second call ). Was told the doctor may or may not call based on how busy the doctor is - doctor was to be in till 8 p.m. Respected that and waited. Yet go no call. Called again at 7.55 p.m. This is the third call. Was told the doctor is seeing the last patient and will call back definitely after this. Still NO call !! Fourth call at 9.00 p.m. office is closed.....

Now will have to continue this torture the next day !!

With such a large team of doctors it is a shame that it takes all this to get a simple positive/negative answer that any doctor/nurse can provide within a minute.

My family and I have happily gone to Avenel Iselin Medical Group since 1991. Our health and service have been exceptionally good. We never wait for more than five minutes in the waiting room. The doctors have been excellent; they listen, are receptive and make the best choices for us regarding prescriptions and other care. The administrative department has always been flawless. We never have issues with paperwork and billing. The facility is wonderfully clean and comfortable. I recommend AIMG to all my family and friends.
