I was looking for an apartment from out of state. I am not familiar with the Jersey City area, and it is not a easy job finding a nice apartment around here. I called the Avanti Group about a listing. I simply asked if the neighborhood was a dangerous one and the agent went of yelling at me. I tried to calm him down and ask some other questions about the place as well as trying to schedule an appointment to see it, but he would not let me say a word. He kept repeating that I asked a question that he cannot answer and that I need to call a local police department. I tried again very nicely, I reminded him that I was a potential client to which he said that I was not a client and he can talk to me however he wants. He finally let me talk and I said that I want him to speak to me respectfully to which he laughed.
I asked him if he should be of help in my search. I gave him my apartment standards and asked what he can do for me to which he screamed NOTHING!
I am a pretty mellow person and it is hard to get to me. This is a first bad review I have ever written in my life, but I would hate for someone to go through this horrible experience.
