Good atmosphere and generally friendly. Always greeted pleasantly when you enter and the wait staff is attentive. Food is 4/5, most items can be found at many locations around NYC.

Had a wonderful experience here for an anniversary trip to New York. Service was very good without being overbearing and the place was packed on a Friday Night. Had their East/West Oysters as an appetizer. The variations in the two types of oysters played off each other very well. Wife had the steamed lobster which was very good, fresh and cooked just right. I had the pan roasted salmon over vegetable stew. The fish was cooked to perfection. The stew was well made just did not suit my tastes unfortunately. For dessert she had the Pear Crisp which was very good with a great star anise ice cream. I had the banana pudding which I was reluctant to try since so many places mess it up. However I knew it had to be at least passable when the menu included Nilla Wafers in the description. The only way to make it according to my grandmother. I was not disappointed as it was every bit as good as hers and dressed up for the surroundings without altering the inherent simplicity and charm of such a Southern staple.

Poor experience, service mediocre, bread was cold and cardboard, great wine selection, fresh seafood, branzino excellent, server was not as involved in service, had to pay using open table app which was convenient but server never addressed check...probably wont go again
