I pretty much come here every month, besides the summer, for my dog's nails. Each visit is very satisfying. The price for a monthly nail trimming is reasonable. Can't remember what it is but I think maybe $11+tax but I'll come back to correct it.

I took my dog peanut for a second time recently. I though I had to get my dogs teeth cleaned by a vet because of black and yellow stains. The vet would have had to put him under to do it which is VERY risky. I asked the groomer if he could clean them because his breath was pretty bad. I was expectly something subtle. When I got home and checked his teeth, they were spot clean! I'm so happy about that. They've been stained for two years and other groomers have never tried to removed them. I don't know how he did it. This place is awesome. There's so much more I can say but this review is getting really long. I highly recommend.

My dog is always happy when he leave's Mike & Joe....I'm really the picky one.

I have brought my dog to Mike & Joe since she was a puppy. She's been there about 3 times. They are both great with her and I don't feel bad leaving her with them and going shopping while she gets a haircut. I recommend them 100% and the prices are very reasonable as well.

I haven't been able to find a better price for dog grooming and boarding anywhere in the City, and Joe and Mike (father and son) who run this family business are the best.

My dog has gone to Joe and Mike for her grooming needs ever since the previous place I took her had no available appointments for over a month. I can always get an appointment at Astoria Animal Center, and after realizing how great their prices and service are, I've gone there ever since. They cut my dog's hair exactly how I want it, the price is much better than anywhere else, and my dog's behavior at the groomer has gradually improved over the years thanks to Joe and Mike's patience and discipline with my dog. My dog's coat can be difficult, and Joe even offered to spend time teaching me better ways to comb her out at home.

I also leave my dog with Joe and Mike when I go out of town and can't take her with me. They do their very best to keep her comfortable, they follow my instructions for feeding her to a tee, and they have an outdoor area where the dogs can go outside a few times a day. Again, their service is the most affordable and attentive I've found and I can relax when I'm away because I know my dog is in great hands.
