I saw Dr. Brockman today because I got a case of poison ivy, to which I am very sensitive. I had a prescription of prednisone from the ER but wanted to see a dermatologist because most of the rash is on my face and eyelids and I wanted to get advice on what I could do in these areas to prevent damage, scarring, etc.
She gave me nothing, was very rushed, and basically said just keep with the prescription. Is there really nothing more I could be doing for this rash on my face and eyes? Nothing topical that would prevent scarring? I think I was with her for about 2 minutes. Will not go back.
