Ash Auto Sales 22

I'm giving this dealership a 2 for the simple fact that the receptionist if a bold face LIER! I brought a car from Ash Auto Sales 22, but before purchasing the car I asked the Latina girl (receptionist) who sits to the left, inside the office if the car had been serviced recently and prepared for sale - her answer was, "Yes, the car was serviced recently." She then stated that she was sure of the car being serviced because she handles invoices and ordered parts. Well, I decided to order the Carfax Report for the particular vehicle that interested me. To my surprise, the car had 6 owners and each of those owners kept the car serviced and in good shape; however, according to the Carfax, Ash Auto Sales 22 in Hillside NJ had not serviced the vehicle since the day they took lien of the car...the last known Service record is in 2012; it is now 2014 - long story short, Ash Auto did not service the vehicle in the 2 years they had it. Moral of the story - Sometimes it doesn't pay to tell a lie; you will expose yourself as being dishonest and misleading to your customers. "Are you attracting customers or are you making sure your cars sell very slowly." Other than that mess of a lie, I love the car as a whole.

Okay, first off the freaking place is on the side of a highway, literally. Second, when my husband and I got to this "auto sales" place the guy looked like a typical sneaky sales person. He was smoking cigarette after cigarette inches away from us when he did speak. He had on this creepy, cheap, black fake leather jacket and did not even greet my husband and I in a kind manner just a head nod and a weak handshake. I do not judge people by their appearance, however, my gut was telling me this guy was going to try and rip us off. Okay, so my husband and I went to go look at a BMW X5 '05 with 76,000 miles on it. My husband is a Diesel Mechanic/Technician with a technical degree from Lincoln Tech. My husband turns on the car and it starts shaking so he tells the salesman that BMW's are not suppose to shake like that let me pop open the hood. So my husband pops open the hood and you can literally see the car shaking. My husband argues with the salesman that this isn't right, however, the salesman was CONVINCED that BMW's sound and run like that. So to test this guy about his morality I tell my husband that I went to go inside and talk numbers with this guy, so we go in and as time goes by he kept interrupting us to go and smoke another cigarette, im talking 2 packs in an 1 hour, RUDE. So we eventually ended up talking with his secretary, then he had the nerve to entertain new customers right in front of us and tell them the same B.S responses that "the car is suppose to run like that" or "your not going to find that kind of price anywhere". Customer after different customer kept coming in and NO ONE throughout the day bought a car. I told my husband I heard and watched enough to know this guy is a crook. And, he asked for an extra 2k for fees along with the original price of the car, NOT including the warranty fee. STAY AWAY. All the cars there were CRAP.
