I love Artsee/Surreal Eyeware, several years ago I needed a pair of glasses in an emergency and Artsee was able to hook me up with a pair of cool looking pair glasses right on the spot from their wide selection of frames (I'm pretty rough with my glasses ask the owner lol). Ever since then I've been a loyal customer of Artsee, I have to say that the owner and staff at Artsee have a great sense of fashion and you're never railroaded into a pair of glasses you don't like. I'm pretty sure most if not all the glasses Artsee carry's are hand made. Frames may cost more than Lenscrafters but Im sure Lenscrafters wont carry the brands that Artsee has. I'm going down to Artsee and support them on Small Business Saturday. wish I could get a female friend of mine into Artsee, she wouldn't leave until she got a new pair of glasses. They have locations In the West Village, Battery Park City and Miami plus they're open late :-)
