I lived in Aquablu for one year 2015/2016. The building is amazing and the surrounding stores are also very great. However, 99% of the residents in Aquablu and Newport area in general are Chines and Indian. That's fine, but if you are neither of those, you won't enjoy your stay because Indians and Chinese, although nice and respectful, keep it to themselves and prefer not to intract with anyone other than themselves at any time. I do not recommend this building or Newport for the lack of diversity.
You might not see it when you take a first look at the area and building, and I was fooled too. If you live there for a month or two and more, you will start to notice that you are in different country other than the US due to the lack of diversity and that's not a good thing long term.
