Annabella's Salumeria E Groceria

Great food, TERRIBLE service. Some things are worth waiting for, but being ignored is very rude and unacceptable. I guess if you work around the corner and go often they'll treat you a little more kind because you bring them constant business, but I've been in twice and today was definitely the last! I stood there for 20 minutes and they had 2 other customers besides me in the entire store. Not ONE person could so much as greet me or say hello, let alone take my order. They waited until I had put the menu back and begun walking out before saying anything. "Can I help you?" No thanks!!! I would much rarather travel to another town for an Italian deli.

Great food and good service. I am not sure about the reviews from here about rude service. I work around the corner and come 2 times a week. Never once have I personally seen any rude behavior.

Anyway, for a little secret. Go in there and order a super nice one. It's a spin of some thing on the menu. You will thank me later.

Owner is bill. He is usually always around working and making his customers laugh. Over time I have got to know him and he is really a great guy. He's just trying to make it in this world like the rest of us.

Did I mention his mozz wins awards? I dare you to find a place in NJ with better mozz.

I started working in East Rutherford three months ago and need a place to pick up lunch. I found Annabella's by accident one day, and I'm so glad I did. Everything is made fresh, and their mozzarella is to die for. Coming from a girl who lived in Florence, Italy -- you MUST try Annabella's.

Yesterday we received a menu at our work so today we decided to try for the first time.

We placed our order via fax requesting a delivery time of 12:15. Much to our surprise the order did not arrive on time.

We called to check the status and was advised the order should arrive soon it was already out for delivery. At 1pm we called again to find out nobody there knew anything about our order, They asked what phone number we used to place the order when i told them we faxed our order in they said "Oh nobody checks the fax".

My big question to them is why take the time to have someone go door to door to all the business's and drop off menu's showing a fax number if they don't check the fax machine for orders?

Needless to say we never got our lunch and i would NEVER recommend this establishment.

Someone in charge needs to take charge and get things right or they will be out of business in no time.

The best Mozz around. The sandwich to get is the "Alyssa's Dream", but make sure to add hot cherry peppers. The owners are not rude, just harried, trying to fill the steam of orders.
