AMF Garden City Lanes

Cheaper than other amf's by a mile. Went on a Friday night and no wait. Good music. Friendly staff.

Came in on a Saturday night to bowl with my wife and they try to make us play on two separate lanes. Also there business hr are until 2am and they decided to close early at 1:30am. Worst experience in along time at amf lanes garden city.

First of all they didn't have enough staff on a particular night Sunday December 27th 2015 and the lines to get a lane along with the food line were way too long along with the wait time.

I was erupting and almost didn't watch my French and my friend had to calm me down.

But the worse parts were their was a fight over the food and the Nassau County Police from the third percent had to get called in too many times.

And the majorly important part was when me and my friends were wrapping up a game that my friend payed for our group was turned off because they claimed we didn't pay but again that guy who was operating the computer must have lost his marbles probably because he got stressed out like I was when I was relieved to leave.

Point is AVOID THIS PLACE because this place is a example of bad customer service and AMF is gonna find out about this after they read this review and likely the Nassau County Police from the 3rd percent in Mineola is gonna come here more often.

Had an event here recently. Facility was good and clean, good staff. The pizza was conveyer belt, but not too bad. They didn't freak out from all the kids doing dumb stuff - guess they're used to it.

This is not for the first time I went to the AMF location of Garden city
today which is father's day I had a very bad experience . The person at the counter asked how many hours I wanted I said just an hour because by 8:00 Pm I must be on my way home He made me paid 26 dollars without telling there is no such thing of one hour I ended up pay another11.00 dollars for another game I thought He knew exactly what He was doing ,because after the fact now He tried to explained to me there is no one hour game I ended up pay 37.00 dollars for two games when I could paid two dollars extra for two hours .A heads up will make a big difference.
