This Place is Amazing. It helped my brother and his wife get their lives back together. If anyone you care about needs help, send them there. My brother and his wife tried a place in Irvington called Sunrise and had no improvement.

Thank You American Habitare for bring my brother and sister in-law back again. You guys helped make our family whole again.

I highly recommend this place.

- Terrible #28806
Poor efficiency & competency, they have way to many clients then the facility is capable of efficiently servicing. This is out of pure greed. Customer service does not exist. There is minimal consideration for the cients lives outside of the clinic; I.E. the fact that people need to get to work. The nurses come in either late, at the last minute or not at all, and then they move slow as sh** with absolutely no sense of urgency, constantly pausing dispensing of medcation to do administrative work when there should be separate staff to do that work, and all while there is literally over 150 clients lined up OUTSIDE the building sometimes in the rain, figgid temperatures, freezing rain, whatever they dont care...
The worst is they constantly put random "holds" on people medcation with NO prior warning. Making us do conseling sessions or groups unscheduled putting peoples jobs in jeopardy!!! Or they flag you for a ramdom drug test and then dont have anybody available to supervise the test, so you sit and wait meanwhile your getting written up at work for being late. And there are no efforts being made to correct these issues. If you are a client and are experiencing this you should direct your cmplaints to DIVISION OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, DIVISION OF ADDICTION SERVICES (D.A.S.)

- Very Good #28807
TERRIBLE! THE ONLY THING THEY CARE IS MONEY AND PUSH CERTAIN THINGS BECAUSE THEY GET EXTRA MONEY FROM MEDICAID LIKE GROUPS. PHYC SERVICES WERE FOR EVERYBODY NOW IF YOU NOT IN MEDICAID YOU CAN'T PARTICIPATE THEY REGULAR PAYING PEOPLE HAVE TO PAY FOR WHAT SUPPOSED TO BE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES WITH WHAT MOST THINK IS A DR BUT IS REALLY A PRACTICIONER MENTAL HEALTH NURSE AND THEY CHARGING THE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT IN MEDICAID IF THEY ASK FOR THE SERVICE $150 A VISIT. THEY VERY RUDE AND FULL OF EXCUSE AND NOT REALLY HANDICAP/DISABLE FRIENDLY THEY HAVE LINE SOMETIMES DAYS ON A ROLL AND YOU CAN SEE THE PEOPLE IN WHEELCHAIRS, CANES, WALKERS FOR HOURS STANDING IN LINE EVEN IN THE RAIN WHILE THEY PLAY 5 AT THE TIME. THEY KEEP ACCEPTING PEOPLE WHEN THEY ARE FULL AND DO NOT HAVE THE FACILITY TO ACCOMODATE MORE CLIENTS. THE PLACE IS SMALL THEY NEED TO EXPAND AND TAKE CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING STARTING FROM THE MANAGEMENT TO THE NURSES. THEY DO HAVE A FEW ADVANTAGES: MORE CLEANER PLACE AND BETTER MANTAINED THAT OTHER CLINICS, THEY DO NOT TOLERATE THE USUAL BS BETWEEN CLIENTS INSIDE THE FACILITY, THE GROUPS ARE GOOD AND THEY DO HAVE FEW GOOD COUNCELORS PLUS THEY DO NOT OPEN ON SUNDAYS, CHRISTMAS, NEW YEAR AND THEY DO RECOGNISE SOME PEOPLE MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO COME IN BAD WEATHER, MAJOR STORMS LIKE SANDY, SNOW STORMS, AFTER SANDY WITH THE POWER OUT THEY WERE GREAT AND CARE I GUESS BECAUSE THE OWNERS DO LIVE OUT OF STATE FROM WHAT I KNOW AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DROPS YOU ALMOST IN FRONT.

I LOVE MY CLINIC, IVE BEEN THERE FOR 6 YEARS AND HAVE BEEN OFF ALL OTHER DRUGS NOW FOR 5 YEARS. I AM A TAKEHOME CARRIER AND I CHOOSE TO TAKE THE TABLETS AND DISKS NOT THE LIQUID I JUST TOLERATE THEM BETTER GASTROISTENALY. BUT THATS GREAT THEY OFFER LIQUID OR PILLS THEY HAVE GOOD GROUPS IN THE AM M-F AND THEY SAVED MY LIFE .SO IF U OR SOME1 U L0VE IS ADDICTED TO HEROIN, OXYS ECT, GET THEM OFF THE STREETS AND IN THE CLINIC BEAUSE IT COULD SAFE THEIR LIFE AND HELP GET THEIR THINGS THEY LOST BACK. I DID.

- Poor #28809
worst medical facility I've ever dealt with they have the WORST customer service. Its privately owned so they do nothing by the book and get away w/ it somehow. The owners are the rudest most unprofessional people that do not care about their patients at all they are all about the MONEY nothing else if you're looking for professional care go somewhere owned and ran by the county like Suburban or Lennard Clinic.
