Laminate flooring install started 05/2015 it is now 08/2016 over a year later and we are still waiting for the install to be corrected. Last time they were out 05/2016 they said that the product sent in 03/2016 was not enough to complete the repairs needed and they would order more. I have not heard back from them and I am sitting on hold right now trying to get a resolution. The floors that I thought I was going to love are now what my nightmares are made of. It is lifting and separating and looks awful. Home Depot where I purchased the flooring and who set up the installers has not been helpful either. No customer service skills at all. I have a hard time stomaching that they were 2015 service provider of the year. At this point I am not sure if some sort of legal recourse in going to be needed.

Terrible experience with this company that Home Depot uses for flooring. A 2 day job was scheduled and they never showed for day 1. They said my entire install was deleted, a "computer error." They crammed in the entire job on day #2, inadequately leveling my kitchen. I now have issues and had an appt today between 3-7. 7pm I get a call he's on his way. 9:15 - NO SHOW, NO CALL. So disrespected. I would have given this a no star rating but I actually liked the installer. I think he was not given all the information to do my install properly and only had 1 day to do it. They try to push the grade of "10" for their services. Fat chance.

Terrible experience with this company to whom Home Depot had contracted our kitchen floor tile job to. To add further insult to injury, ACS subcontracted out to another sub-contractor (who may even had sub-contracted out to another) and sent a single man to do a job that clearly required two people. Further, it is our opinion that the fellow who did show up was incompetent and caused unnecessary damage to our existing kitchen flooring once the decision was made that the job could not be accomplished. In addition, the contractor who arrived at our home did not communicate adequately with my father whom I'm told was difficult to understand (both because of heavy accent compounded with mumbling ). He never informed my father at the outset that in addition to the tile he was to lay down (purchased from Home Depot) that Green board PLUS a cement layer underneath would be needed as well. Rather he simply proceeded to rip up the existing linoleum thereby exposing the plywood layer (in very good shape) below. Apparently the existing flooring had been put down many years before we had moved into our 1926 house, a fact that had been communicated to Home Depot and the contractor.

When materials arrived very late while the contractor was already there my father began to realize that putting down all the materials mentioned above would serve to increase the height of the existing floor to such that it would interfere with two pocket and one swinging door(s) from closing. Moreover, it would certainly throw off everything else in the kitchen including the existing cabinetry, appliances, and make it impossible to put the refrigerator back where it was located. None of this was discussed with my father beforehand. NO evaluation of the situation was made before proceeding to start the job despite the fact that everyone involved was aware of the age of our home. The sub-contractor merely proceeded to rip up the existing flooring, first in the pantry area at the top stair level leading to the basement. He began by removing the metal strip at the top stair that held down the existing lineoleum and within seconds mumbled "9x9s" to my father without explaining what it meant. We later learned that this is a reference is tvinyl tiles that contain asbestos. Rather than stop immediately, he continued to rip off more of the stable plywood surface sitting atop UNDISTURBED vinyl/asbestos tiles under the surface of the plywood. In other words even though he had already determined that there was asbestos containing tiles he continued to yank up plywood until my father stopped him. The sub-contractor then stepped away, said he could proceed no further and REFUSED to put the wood plywood back that he had ripped off--approximately 3 x 4 feet of it. WHY HE CONTINUED TO RIP OFF MORE OF THE PLYWOOD THAT SAFELY COVERED THE TILES BENEATH IS A MYSTERY.

Many calls were made by my father to the company that either were not returned or not satisfactorily responded to. Discussions were had with Brian and Carlos and the situation explained with a request made that AT THE VERY LEAST they repair the damage that they had done. Undisturbed, intact-vinyl tiles that were manufactured with asbestos pose no danger whatsoever. It is powder or "friable" asbestos that is the problem. More importantly, this company never warned us in advance of the high likelihood that pre-existing flooring with asbestos-containing material was highly likely. We could have made the choice to simply remove the old linoleum and place new linoleum down over the existing and stable plywood floor. A much simpler and less expensive endeavor to be sure. Very, very disappointing experience with little to no thought given to the project about to be embarked upon.

Too many middle men. Stupid delays due to now allowing installers to acquire materials needed to finish a job in a timely manner. Horrible communication. Lied about Home Depot inventory, which was verified with a call to Home Depot manager. If Home Depot contracts this company to manage your install, walk away.
