Fantastic service. I've been let down by service in this city numerous times, but this restaurant was warm and friendly from the moment I came in. The bartender made me a custom drink, and the sushi was delicious. Try the Pink Lady!

West Village; the blade and I wandered out last night looking for some relaxed sushi. Spotted this place. Slightly rustic, bar-like atmosphere... TPC from Sawgrass and the Rangers on 2 tv's... delighted.
Sat at the bar and listened to Dimitri's considered recommendations, then started with tasty edamame and an excellent spicy tuna pancake. We shared the 14 piece sashimi platter which was stunning.. as good as i have ever had in Nobu / Roka / Zuma etc... places which are by multiples more expensive. In fact it was better. Beautifully prepared, fresh and zingy, truly superb. Felt greedy so I had the drunken spaghetti with flank steak. Delicious. Washed down with a crisp glass of white. The blonde had free refills of diet coke.
All of this for $80. The best asian fusion food I have had for this price in NYC or London. By far.

Reasonable lunch prices. Food is tasty--they offer japanese specials and thai food as well. My pad thai was lacking tamarind, that I'm normally used to but still fresh and delicious nonetheless. Overall ambiance felt like I was in a club (dark, dim lighting, loud dance music) so I imagine this place to be a good spot for happy hour. Also conveniently next to the Path!
