This theatre is awesome for tourists like I was. All of the seats open during a play offer great viewing angles. The sound could have been slightly better near the rear of the theatre. I saw Chicago there and was, very pleased. Drink prices are white hefty so make sure you consider that before buying. All of the staff know the isles and seating extremely well and have the ability to point out your seat in a matter of seconds.

Really nice, old style, venue. We went to see Chicago here after getting last minute tickets at one of the ticket boothes in Times Square.

More leg room than I was expecting - performance was around 2.5 hours, with a short break, and it was really comfortable, if a little cozy. Plenty of leg room though. Good size - not too big, so felt like you were very close to the action (we were around 4 rows from the front in the stalls though). Drink prices not too bad either. Definitely recommend.

- Excellent #151455
Saw Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre, and had good seats--first row on the balcony, no fedora wearing douche in front of me. As we entered the theater and were walking towards our seats, we passed the concession stand and I made a note to go back to purchase some wine once we were settled into our seats.

However, a few minutes after we sat down, I heard a concession employee ask if anyone wanted to purchase wine, and my reply was, of course, "Yes please!" Without even getting out of my seat, I was able to purchase wine (they were offering single or doubles, and of course I went for the double) and pay for it with my credit card. Super convenient.

Impressive show for a non-theatre goer, but was more thankful than impressed when the old women survived a dance move rather than nailed a dance moved. Broken hips are a large possibility in this show, needs a fresh cast!
