Pretty much here weekly. I think the theaters have improved quite a bit since I've been going there. Bathrooms can be scary, but well worth the value imho. Not afraid to order anything on the menu, and feel that the popcorn is usually pretty good.

I am so glad that this movie theater is still around and not too far from me. I'm grateful for the new owner(s) that bought and kept it as a movie theater for the people, rather than convert it. This has been the "go-to" theater for my family & I for many, many years, and we continue to go there & support it (I'm going there again tonight with my tenant). Even though there are a few more theaters left in Brooklyn, some more modern & fancier, the Alpine is a very good value; the bottom line for us is, we're there to see a movie, which is the same at any theater....not pay more & deal with bigger crowds for a chair that moves in different directions or sounds popping up all over. I would love to give this cinema a five-star rating, but I have to keep the integrity and stay at four. It needs some work, especially the bathrooms, plus it's tough to find parking in that area (much like all of Bay Ridge...lol). I do hope, however, that this movie theater stays around for more decades to come, so that my children & many others that can appreciate it for what it is can continue to do so!!!!

This is one of my favorite parts of living in Bay Ridge! $6 movie tickets on Wednesdays!!!! Nothing beats it. They've also recently update the seats so they're not even half bad. Don't get me wrong, it's nothing fancy but it is well worth $6.

It's a 4 years old Theater with comfortable chairs and looks clean, movie is louder than normal so it's good if kids are around making noise you can here! Location is a hip place around alot of restaurants and pubs if you drink, it's close to the pier and ferry boat to the city, I would say- it's a safe area, 20 years ago, you couldn't walk around these streets without knowing someone in the hood. Now it's a total change- the rent so high, medium tax payers can't afford living here on their own.
Yeah, nice area and nice movie.
Pssss. You personal bags will be checked for clearance to enter the movie theater's.
