Alpha-Omega Cleaners

I've used this place a couple of times out of convenience. However, most recently it's taken over 2.5 weeks for them to get my two pieces of clothing back to me (I have stopped by every weekend and it's always going to be back "next Monday"). Still waiting on it. The owner and Denise are nice enough people and like to give new customers free stuff, but that doesn't make up for slow service.

These cleaners are not worth the dirt on my shoes. I brought in a 3 piece suit with mother of pearl buttons for dry cleaning. 3 days later, I pick up the suit and notice that every single button (on the front of the jacket, sleeves, vest, and pants) is chipped and damaged. Then the owner has the audacity to blame the damage on my buttons and not her machine, citing her policy that they are not responsible for buttons, etc. I mean, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I brought in a garment in PERFECT condition (except with a speckling of salt stains on the legs from walking around in the aftermath of the NY "blizzard") only to receive it damaged. Then I get BLAMED for all of the damage AND get offered (read: charged for) new replacement buttons. ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW? GET REAL! There are plenty of other dry cleaners in Forest Hills. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this joint and go to somewhere with better quality service and employee attitude. I will never be bringing my business to this "establishment" again.

New management with excellent service. Needed a pair of pants altered in a rush and they did it the same day. Prices are very competitive. Would recommend.

There must have been some change from before. The entire front store area has been renovated, it's beautiful! New lighting makes everything brighter and they did a serious deep clean. The family that runs it is extraordinarily nice and attentive. The cleaning is done off-premises but it's never been a problem and most things are returned in two working days. The prices are reasonable, not great, but acceptable. Very happy with the service and the experience overall.

I don't know if anything that the last posters wrote is true, but frankly I think it's bull. I've been going to this dry cleaner consistently for about a year now and I've never had a single problem. Rebecca is very polite and professional and so is her father, the mom I've never interacted with but I'm sure she's nice too. I bet, however, that if you get on their bad side with a nasty, stuck-up attitude you'll be sure to get the same in return. I know how nasty customers can get and I think business owners have every right to defend themselves. Respect is mutual and if customers don't have it they shouldn't expect it in return. The service prices are fairly reasonable and fast. I highly recommend!
