I called this place for an estimate on a laptop power jack repair, they said about $60. Thinking that was fair, I brought it in only to be told in person there would be a $38 fee before they could even talk about repair... and THEN the estimated $60 on top of that if I was right about the problem (which I knew I was). While that rubbed me the wrong way, I had already brought it in and needed it fixed so I reluctantly agreed. The next day they called me and told me the new power jack would cost $90 for the part PLUS $30 for the labor cost which of course was never mentioned until after they already had some of my money. To make matters worse, I was so suspicious that I did my homework and looked up the part I needed and it costs $6 retail... SIX DOLLARS! These criminals are trying to charge me $90 for it plus unmentioned labor costs when it probably costs them $3 wholesale at most? They are the absolute scum of the earth, and I obviously took my computer back from them immediately. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY EVER! Scam joints like this need to go out of business.

Alfenet repaired my LCD for IBM laptop and replaced power jack in two days. LCD display they order next day. Power jack they had it in stock.
