I've lived in Windsor for 3 years. It's one of the worst places to be. Don't want to sound cliche but it's one of the oldest buildings with a crappy management and an equally crappy system in place. The building basement doors are always faulty, gates never open or are broken down most of the time. There's no concierge or security. The hallway carpets smell of cigarette smoke and are badly stained. They do temporary fixes which break down again. Apts have major insulation/pipe blockage issues, blinds are broken, carpets are never changed inside, heating/ac system has working problems, dishwashers are old and do not function well, light fixtures are old, power points do not work. Oh! There are issues both insides and out! The building is known for ant invasions, insects etc. They speak of luxury building - it has no such amenities. They woo the renters initially, but would not honor the lower price rents shown in the market if you are already a tenant. So most of the people just sign out or hang in until its too frustrating. It's such a hassle to move and clearly they work in a fashion so that the old tenants move out. Weird system, I know. They've increased my rent every year while my apartment rents for $200 less/ month. Wouldn't honor a lower rent to me, as it's the policy! Am sure, there's a law against this but don't have the time to fight these losers. I am glad I made the choice to move out. Used to think every time the lease ended. Would never come back! It's one of the worst buildings in the neighborhood.
I wanted to give in my input so that the new owners are not duped like I was.
