A+ for atmosphere
Its a beer drinkers paradise with big TVs that always have the best game on. Always a great selection of beer. Staff is usually very nice. I've never had the food but hear it is very good. Highly recommend this place!

If you love beer, Alewife could be your hot spot to hang with friends. I am not so much a beer drinker but I appreciate the space, the food and TVs all around for football fans.
Their menu serves typical bar food and we ordered their burger and wings to try. My husband really enjoyed his burger and their truffle garlic fries are very good. I got their wings on a Sunday night and apparently it is 25-cent wing on Sunday nights? So my total came out to be $1. It is definitely a pleasant surprise!
I hope Long Island City opens more bar or lounge for their neighbors!

Decent neighborhood pub that's slowly undergoing renovations. This pub is spacious and includes a second floor with a large screen to watch any sports or events that may be on. Comfortable couches upstairs and your typical pub scene downstairs. There is also a pool table and dart board on the upper level, but both are rather dated. They have a good selection of food and drinks for all beer lovers. The reason for only 3 stars is because they seem to be rather understaffed when it comes to providing service to patrons seated on their upper level.

Love this bar. Always a great beer selection, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is jovial. They have a giant projector at the back of the bar that shows sports. They also have an atrium/roof when the weather is nice.

Great food and beers. One of my favorite burgers in the city. Avoid on Thursday nights if you want to have conversations--a meaningless football game and all its commercials blasted at full volume spoiled an otherwise pleasant night.
