An unusual dinner, but delicious and refreshing. I love the concentration on seasonal vegetables, as well as pickled and fermented items. Amazing, unusual ingredients, presented in a harmonious way. It just feels earthy and natural in a way other high end dining does not.

So I highly recommend this, especially for the price, which is high for a normal meal, but a bargain compared to many other high end restaurants.

Noma in NYC. Authentic and uncompromising cuisine served by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable waitstaff. From a shocking blast of ocean broth through courses that ranged from raw oysters and scallops to the bloody delights of beef heart, fresh cod, baked beets encased in salt and a wonderful lamb dish, the food is unlike anything currently available in New York. The bread rivals and surpasses that of Contra. Every course displayed creativity with flavors that constantly surprise and delight. No need to fly to Copenhagen. Just take the 7 train to Grand Central Station.
