Affordable Construction

I made an appointment for a gutter cleaning estimate and was very specific about needing someone to arrive before 10am due to other appointments. They did not show up or call. When I called to inquire, I was told they were "running late" and would be there later, so I cancelled. Why, in the age of mobile phones, is it impossible to call clients and let them know ahead of time what is happening? Unacceptable.
