I just came across this nasty review and I felt obliged to write my own about my personal experience with Advantage Restaurant Equipment. First of all, it seems as if the guy who wrote this is either a scornful competitor or a flat out idiot who clearly has no idea what he is talking about. I have known Josh the owner and his team at Advantage for years and have nothing but the best things to say about them. They operate as true professionals and will go out of their way to provide top notch service and fantastic pricing on their equipment.
I have purchased several pieces from Advantage and have only the best experience with them. I WARN YOU...DO NOT let some bitter a-hole dissuade you from getting some of the best deals out there on the huge selection that Advantage has to offer.

I am the owner of Advantage Restaurant Equipment and I would like to respond to the 1 bad review I have on Google. Let me first start out by saying we do everything we can to satisfy our customers, and although you can not always make everyone happy all of the time, we do our best and most of our customers are very happy. I do not like to badmouth anyone; even those who wrongly try to destroy my reputation. We do not hook, up walk in boxes. We build them, and provide the refrigeration, however all electric, plumbing g, and refrigeration install is to be done by the customer. We only build the box. This was told to the customer before, during and after his purchase. The customer paid for half of the box before install, and then wanted to wait until after his installer hooked it up to pay the balance. Although this is against company policy I agreed. His electrician wired the unit wrong because as I stated earlier we do not even do electric work. He then threatened me and said he would not pay his balance if I didn't send someone out to install his walk in box. So I sent a local tech out there and the technician said because of the way the customer installed the compressor, it would all have to be rewired from the beginning and it would cost me more than the balance owed. So to avoid losing more money I just walked away. In fact my attorney is handling this case in small claims court as we speak, because we did nothing wrong and deserve to be paid for our product. All I ask is that you judge me and my company based on your experience. Please feel free to come in and talk to myself or any of my knowledgeable sales staff we will be happy to help you. The owner is very nasty. These guys will take your money and run. Dont buy equipment from them cause if you do it will either not work or they won't fix it. Had a walk-in installed by them and there so called mechanic wired it wrong and then refused to fix it costing me 3000.00. There is another location on mcbride its the same people you have been warned. There is another guy in Paterson that is a lot better but i wont mention names. DO NOT GET ROBBED BY THESE CROOKS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED........
