Advanced Therapy & Wellness Center

I was looking for a therapy place after moving to the area and the reviews compelled me to try the Advanced Therapy & Wellness Center. And without exaggeration, every single review is right on point. Not only Dr. Merlino cares about treating his patients but he also cares about their well-being and his staff.  There were some hiccups with the insurance coverage and Dr. Merlino said he’ll handle and not to worry about it. He also takes the time to see his patients and explain all the procedures thoroughly. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful! Please don't be deceived by how small the actual place might seem from the outside. It's quiet spacious inside and private. The atmosphere is also relaxing and clean. Even if you are not in the area, seeing Dr. Merlino and his staff is worth the drive.

My wife has been going to Dr. Merlino for a long time. I woke up last week and my shoulder was in excruciating pain for no good reason. Went to the urgent care and got the usual NSAID and steroids. No relief after taking them. My wife suggested calling Dr. Merlino, he saw me right away and after the first treatment, I felt little improvement. I went back the next day and got another treatment. A few hours later, I was able to move my arm again. The ensuing days saw rapid improvement, much more than the meds would have provided. Its now 3 days after my second treatment and my pain is gone and I have almost a full range of motion back in my shoulder. The laser therapy was amazing. I cannot believe that only 3 days later I feel this good. I was sure that I was going to have to see an orthopedist and be forced to deal with something more intrusive. I cannot say enough thank yous!!! I would recommend the doctor any time. You will not be disappointed.

My husband injured his back while lifting incorrectly. I had heard about Dr. Merlino from my cousin so I gave the office a call. They saw him right away and after the first visit he felt better. After only four treatments he feels terrific! What a lifesaver.
