Overpriced, rather unfriendly staff.
The good: TONS of vinyl. That in itself is a good thing.
The bad: nothing actually worth buying. Unless you are a diehard fan and you want to buy the third-rate stuff done by every artist, there isn't much for you here. Pink Floyd for example: no "Dark Side of the Moon" or "Final Cut" or "The Wall," but plenty of other stuff. Same with every artist. Maybe the LPs have just been too picked through- but if you are looking for the best of any artist, you will have a hard time finding it.

Best place to sell old records in NYC. Paid me way more than I expected!

I always show up not expecting to find anything, and I always walk out with at least 2 or so gems I never thought I'd find anywhere but eBay for big bucks. Such a great record shop I find myself aimlessly wandering as my more in depth record hunting friends spend forever going up and down the aisles. Always turns my frowns upside down when I go here (did I seriously just write that? I guess I did...)

Loads of classical music which is not my thing, yet. Only few rows of electronica, hip hop, soul etc. But I didn't mind! That is because I seemed to be the only one going for those, and I did certainly find a plenty of good music from one to three dollars a CD on the clearance section of shelves. Highly recommemded place to drop by.
