Absolute Thai Homemade

Used to go here prior to the name/management change and would have loved to try it but they would not answer the phone. My wife was stuck in traffic (and angry) on the way home from the city and texted she was craving Pad Thai, so I called, they picked up and verified delivery was available if I'd promise to order over $30. I said I'd call right back once I got my wife's order and I did, 7 times, but they just would not pick up. After a couple tries I assumed they were on the other line or busy in the kitchen, so I waited a couple minutes and tried again, then again, then again, and again over a span of 17 minutes. It quickly became apparent to me that they were maybe screening my call and thought better of delivering to me although I am only 3 miles away (within their delivery range). It is too bad because if the food was like it previously was, it would be good, however to avoid my call and not pick it up is poor customer service. If this was not the case, this is Google, so you know how to contact me and I will rescind my 1 star, but for now I will never go there again as there are other Thai options in Edgewater and Hoboken that will gladly deliver to me. Unfortunately, they will be the ones missing out as my wife and I order takeout 4-6 times per week and she often craves Thai.

Note to self, if they say they will deliver, just pick some stuff and place the order.

This used to be some other thai place a few years back. Anyway a couple months ago, my wife and i dropped by here late one night and tried out thier food. We've been going back, or ordering take out a couple times a month since. I think it is by far the best one in the area. Thier tom yum soup is second to none, thier green curry with beef is scrumptous. Actually, we haven't had a bad meal yet. And guess what, i'm ordering those two items and something else new, not sure what yet, tonight.

I really think this is the best Thai restaurant in the area! I love thai food and tried every single places around here and couldn't find any good place until this place open up I think last year? not sure. any way, food is always fresh and you can feel it when you bite in to it. I eat there at least once a week. Drunken noodle with shrimp is my the favorite and I recommended to many of my friends and all love it. Their red curry and green curry is pretty good too. If you go for lunch special, you get more for your money since they give you yummy salad and chicken and rice soup which is super good as well.

Great pad thai, super fast delivery. The coconut soup is really good. the vegetables are very fresh and nicely prepared to be healthier. The jazmin and sticky rice were the perfect extra!
