A Dog's Best Friend

I called in the morning and they are able to squeeze an appt for my Shih Tzu. He got lots tangles. They called me after 5 hours. My baby looks good and relax. Highly recommend this place for all dogs owners.

Bad job! Very disappointed! How can you let dog go without popping they glands! Expensive for nothing special, I can do this at home. Unprofessional.

Such a nice place to have your pet groomed! I have two male Shih Tzus that I like to groom every 3-4 months, puppy cut with a mohawk. I originally went to a groomer in nearby Elmhurst, Lily and Bobby. First I asked if they could groom my long-haired cat, but the groomer asked if the cat was nervous, she didn't want to groom a nervous cat. Uh, it's a cat, yeah, she's going to be nervous! What kind of question is that for a groomer? That was strike one for me.

Then, not once, but twice the groomer cut their nails too short and they were bleeding. If you're not careful, a dog can bleed to death this way. That was strike two. After that, taking longer than they said they would, and having a teenager running the place, I was done. Strike three.

Luckily I found A Dog's Best Friend. It's a drive from Elmhurst, but it's so worth it. They are so nice, so sweet, I never had a dog bleeding, and she shows how much she loves dogs as much I as I love mine.

She does the puppy cut, and the mohawk, so my boys are looking very cool!

I have been bringing my Shih Tzu, Gucci, there for about 12 years. Both the my dog and I love this people. The people there are extremely nice and very considerate. My dog has very special needs and they do nothing but the very best for her. Thank you to "A Dog's Best Friend" for everything you do. It is truly appreicated.

I brought my dog here after reading the reviews. I've gone to many groomers over the past couple years and I have never been happier. I feel like these people really took time to groom her and took good care of her while she was there. I will definitely go back
