My friend and I took the three-part, 4.5-hour tour of Ground Zero and were so pleased with all of it. Our tour guide Linda Shell enhanced the experience tremendously with her charm, excellent information, enthusiasm and personal experience as a native New Yorker. It was also a very emotional and moving tour, especially with the personal insight Linda was able to provide. It was an unheathfully hot day, according to the forecasters, and Linda was very conscious of our need to stay out of the sun as much as possible and to find places for us to sit when convenient. I heartily recommend the tour - and you will be fortunate indeed if you get Linda as your guide!

We really enjoyed listening to Tom's personal perspective on the events and subsequent events surrounding 911. He placed a rather pleasant spin on what was a rather dark moment in our history. I would highly recommend his tour.

- Very Good #117107
I booked this tour mainly for my Grandmother. It was interesting, however these sorts of experiences often make me feel uncomfortable. It was good to have information from Tony, a New York local and someone very familiar with both the area, as well as events of the day. There were some very ignorant and rude people on the tour who got cranky/annoyed at Tony that the Chapel was closed for private events. The chapel functions much the same as it did before, and FYI is not just for tourists! This is obviously something that is out of the control of the guides and should be respected that people who actually live in the area still visit the chapel today.

Tony had a folder with him with snippets from the day such as photographs, articles as well as maps of the area. As someone from Australia who was only a child at the time it was great to hear about just how vast the damage was, and not only what I saw on the tv when it happened. The memorials are spectacular, very serene and a lovely homage to those who lost their lives. My advice would be put the selfie stick down and take a minute to pay your respects to all of the individuals affected by the events of 9/11.

Overall, we enjoyed the tour and are glad we booked it. Tony was a very interesting guide and shed great light on the event. Would recommend to friends and family, great to hear about the day and not just visit the sites by ourselves.

The tour of GZ was amazing and very humbling. Robert Maass was our guide and he did a wonderful job. He was very knowledgeable and answered any questions that we asked. I would recommend him to any one who wants to take the tour. Thank you again for the wonderful tour.

Our guide was "Torian" and she was outstanding in that she was very knowledgeable and personable. She was attentive to each person and answered all questions in an expert manner. She was careful to keep us safe in traffic and kept a good count of us to ensure none of us strayed away or lagged behind. The tour began at St. Paul's Chapel and ended at the museum. My wife and I opted to skip the museum and went on to the observation tower which was fantastic in that the panoramic view of NYC was breathtaking. We rate the overall experience as excellent!
