Service was subpar. I'm guessing the big, angry, ugly guy that walks around the place is the boss? Not a very nice person. I'm not sure whether he doesn't like gay people, place people, or latino people but he was not too happy about us eatung in his restaurant.

One of the best pasta's I had in NYC!
Fast and friendly service with a real Italian accent :), the place is cozy and very clean.
Very decent pricing for the amount of food you get and very tasteful dishes.

Think "decent diner". Usually eat here when in the area (daytime), mostly because there's not much choice in area; and it's perfect if you need to go to Mt Sinai (though imposingly crowded at lunch time for same reason). Decent pricing though not cheap for what is essentially diner food. The service is acceptable to' strangers and very warm to' regulars. The owners are always there. Very clean restrooms. Can and will work with you where possible regarding allergy and dietary needs. Make point of trying out all dishes on delivery: I've twice had side dish served only slightly warm.

food was delicious with reasonable prices. Service was fast, pleasant, and effective. great place for a nice sit down full meal without paying out too much money.
