A frequent stop on my trips to NYC from the UK. Affordable, decent diner food with - eccentric service, is a kind way to put it. Definitely a neighbourhood hangout for regulars. Breakfast menu is plentiful, filling and economical; lunch and dinner... not so much.

Good food, but watch out for mystery charges. I ordered for take out and the waitress charged me more that the price on the menu claiming that there is a "plate charge" (besides the tip that I left her). A PLATE CHARGE, Carl! What a shady way to overcharge.
