This winter we are studying the life of Jesus Christ from the Gospel of Luke. In Luke 10-19, Jesus travels to Jerusalem. Along the way, he teaches his disciples, delivering some of the most memorable parables of his ministry. He also challenges the powers of his day and the hypocrisy that marked it. His teaching grows progressively dark and comes across as urgent, but that makes sense given that he will be executed soon after he arrives.
