Zip Zap Eyebrow Threading

As somone who frequents this business and knows that owner, I can honestly say I've never had a problem with their charging policies, and the workers get their credit tips paid out at the end of the day, there may have just been a mixup or misunderstanding that day. Other than that, the staff is very friendly and does a good job

Clients BEWARE of a new procedure that's taking place at Zip Zaps. Customers are not made aware that the tips that are left on credit cards are not being directly given to the eyebrow beauticians. When I realized that $1 was being deducted from the tip that I had left on the credit card, I spoke to the manager and she responded that it was a new procedure that was recently put into place due to an increase in taxes that credit card companies were charging the store. When asked where this new policy was posted in the store, the manager's response was "It is not your problem why the policy is not posted." This was completely inappropriate, disrespectful, and uncalled for. The policy that is currently displayed on the counter states that a $15 minimum is required for credit cards –nothing about deducting additional monies that is added for gratuity. Not to mention this has never been their practice in the past (as I've tipped in this manner before). It is upsetting and disappointing that this store is taking their customers’ money as well as their hard working beauticians' tips to avoid being taxed while not informing the public. In the end, the manager said she will allow the full amount of the tip to be given to the beautician, but will deduct it from her salary at a later time. Again, cheating her workers from the money they are entitled to. I, along with my friends and family, will take our business elsewhere where clients and employees are treated fairly!! It's a shame.

I get my eyebrows threaded at both the Freeport and Baldwin locations. I am very happy with the results every time and I love the mini eyebrow massage afterwards.
