I have a Zero Halliburton Aluminum carry-on piece of luggage for which the plastic components that make up the telescopic handle fit together poorly. Sadly, when I called Zero Halliburton & spoke to 2 senior people there - Debbie Pawigon & Wataru Miyako - all that they did was deny any accountability. My luggage is in brand new condition (I emailed them both jpegs which proved this) & is well within the 10 yr warranty period. Their response? Debbie Pawigon, in a highly biased manner (in ‘perfect’ keeping with the ‘standard’ of customer service I have received from her) revised the Zero Halliburton warranty so that it now only covers functionality - which I find very interesting considering what Zero Halliburton has noted on its website under their warranty section “Each of the Zero Halliburton, Inc. (“ZHI”) luggage products is manufactured to the highest industry standards and is covered by the ZHI Limited Lifetime Warranty (“Warranty”). The ZHI Limited Lifetime Warranty protects the original purchaser against defects in workmanship and materials.”
So much for these high standards.
For 100% certain; I will never again make the mistake of buying anything made by Zero Halliburton which as I have now been informed - all the new product is made off-shore, in CHINA.
