After looking for formal gowns for a black tie wedding, I'd found a pretty amazing dress but it was about 2" too big.
The owner's wife was very keen to help me get my dress sized since I would be out of town till the day before I left for the wedding in Chicago. The tailor sized me, had the dress ready the next week (my family picked it up for me) - and if the dress wasn't a perfect fit, they agreed to do a rush fitting on the one day I was back in town before leaving for the wedding.
Anyway, the dress fit perfectly! Not to mention the tailor did a wonderful job taking the dress in, it had beading at the top, about an inch in, and was mainly a chiffon dress (a very hard to manage fabric) and after the adjustment was made, it was absolutely seamless!
The also steam pressed my dress and all of it was very affordable! I would definitely go back again and recommend it out to others.
