It was my first visit with my puppy and the staff made me feel so comfortable. They treat us with much respect and my puppy was very comfortable with the vet. I highly recommend this as the place for our fur babies!!!

HURT MY CAT!! Rude, rough, arrogant .... ZERO stars needed.

We had a five o'clock appointment and ran late. We didn't get called until almost closing. When we entered the room, the so-called 'vet' asked "what are we here for"?

I suspect that my cat has anal glands issues. But he said " cats don't get that", as if I'm a liar. Then he says "I have cats, and sometimes that happens" ..... So what is it?

The place is small crowded and smelly. He puts him on the table and my cat is terrified of the dog in the other room. He doesn't even close the door. We had to hold him because the assistant couldn't be bothered to help. Then the 'doctor' coldly told me 'he's doing something else' .... Like something else other than his damn job!!!!

Then the 'doctor' inserts his finger into my cats rectum and my cat SCREAMS. Doctor Evil then says " he just doesn't like being touched" He continues to rough handle my cat until I tell him to stop.

Doctor Evil coldly says "no charge, I didn't do anything". So we left, with my cat crying in pain.

First of all, if they were too busy to see us, let us know. If they are too damn lazy and pissed to see a patient after closing, let us know.

Please don't bring your pet here. I'm writing this in tears

My dog, Amber, had 3 very large cysts on her back that looked suspicious. We met with Dr. Givan who was so loving and compassionate with us and our dog. He quickly pulled Dr. Mendelsohn (surgeon) into the conversation, who recommended the removal of all 3. Needless to say, I was a very nervous mom waiting to hear the results of the surgery. Dr. Howell was amazing by the way he got on the phone to reassure me that Amber was doing great and that he would check on her during the night. He truly alleviated all of my fears. I then got a follow up phone call from Dr. Mendelsohn to tell me all went well and that Amber was resting comfortably. We went the next morning to pick her up and she acted like nothing had happened. I couldn't believe it because she can be skittish at times. Dr. Mendelsohn and her Assistant, Alanna, did a phenomenal job!!! It's been 2 1/2 weeks and you can barely see where the cysts had been removed. My heartfelt thanks to the group at Yonkers Animal Hospital!!!

It was great. They were very patient with my dog Jace. The only thing was that, I have a lot of mental issues, and I was scared and nervous because I didn't want to stress out the vets and I was worried about Jace, and I was tired because I have MS and stressed out and my body was exhausted, and it was my first time there, and at the other Vet I've been at, it's usually a student vet-to-be first and then the Doctor. The point is that I was nervous and so many things were going on at once and I called the Vet "Miss", and she snapped at me with "DOCTOR", and I was like.. wow... I didn't mean it like that. I can't think, so many things are going on, I wasn't being sexist because in my personal life I fight against all bigotry, including sexism... I told her I meant no disrespect by calling her Miss instead of "Doctor" in the middle of holding back my 70lbs dog that was freaking out... but I didn't deserve to be snapped at like that.

But they were great and patient, but that was my only negative experience. It was such a crazy situation because my dog is scared when he goes to the vet and everything was so wild with him whimpering and my mind is racing and I meant no disrespect, but I didn't deserve to be snapped at like I did some sexist stuff on purpose.

Friendly staff that went out of their way to make our cat comfortable during his visit. Prices are fair and we were notified of charges before anything was done. Something that was important to us after being taken advantage of by another nearby vet.

We were in the room for the checkup/physical. A tech loved our cat up to keep him comfortable while the vet did what seemed like a very thorough physical.

All employees we spoke with were courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful.
