I am not entirely sure what the folks are raving about here. I tried the "vegetable" Knish. For anyone who has tasted a flavorful samosa, empanada or pierogi, this is a crushing disappointment. The knish here can best be described as flat and borderline smelly. The "vegetable" consists of 95% bland potatoes. The rest of the 5% consists of corn (since when is this a "vegetable"?!), a few scattered peas and little else.
The Latke is a bit better - but then so it anything deep fried and drenched in oil. If you are passing by this shop and are desperately hungry and cannot walk even a few inches more, maybe you could eat a Latke with sour cream. ***Avoid*** if you can walk and go to better places a few feet away. Disappointing and over-hyped describes this place very well.
