I've never regretted coming here. It's such a good re-set.

Great classes, but really overcrowded...

A great studio. By nw you know that it has a great mission. If you've found yoga unaffordable, come and practice here. Big, busy room, which means someone's going to rip a fart at some point in your session.

This is my favorite yoga studio in New York City, hands down (or up!). They live their mission and make yoga affordable and accessible to all in a beautiful space. There's something about the place and the people that is like a little sliver of Northern California right here in Williamsburg. I love their hot yoga classes -- all the joy and sweat of that "other" hot yoga practice (named after the guy who shall remain unnamed here) but half the price and with the joyous undercurrent of a deep integrity running through the place the people and the practice. If you do the popular flow class (suggested donation) arrive early to get a spot and prepare to thrive off the energy of a packed room. Forever grateful to YTTP.

The yoga to the people in the east village introduced me to yoga 5 yrs ago, now i go to this yttp for power yoga from time to time. Affordability is amazing, teachers are of various strengths and will lead you through a little flow you can do what you want with. After having gone to another yoga studio for a year and coming back, i really really wish they incorporated incense. I get they are all about the exercise of it and sweating and we smell, it's organic, and we all fart but being in a closed room in the summer sweating it out with 50 people 4 inches from you and no ventilation whatsoever is very overwhelming for someone with a sensitive constitution. I have gotten really nauseous several times throughout my classes recently. Incense is so cheap when you buy bulk! I would love to get a whiff of something other than BO at some point in my hour in this place.
