I have been going to Yoga People consistently for over a year now, and I'm still loving it. I become calm right when I walk into the studio, and find everyone so friendly and inviting.
The 1 hour lunchtime classes are good for a quick workout and a few minutes to relax, but the hour and a half classes are really where it's at. Martha, Lindsay, Donnalynn and Kathryn are my favorites. They give individualized attention throughout class, and towards the end there are plenty of variations for the harder poses depending where you are in your practice.
This is a pretty "yogi" yoga studio, so classes usually begin and end with chanting, which for some people can be a turn off. Just come in with an open mind, don't chant if you're not comfortable, and go with it! All the teachers have different styles, just like any other studio or gym, so give everyone a try.
Also, most teachers use lotions/oils during Savasana which feels/smells amazing - relaxing and refreshing.
PS: I did my Teacher Training here and teach at the studio, so of course I am very happy with Yoga People as my home studio. I wrote this review as if I didn't also teach here, just trying to give the average person an idea of the studio.
