I came into Carolyn's yoga studio with scoliosis that has been progressing for years and have been looking for a yoga teacher that knows the anatomy, the mind and the spirit. The benefits I've received after attending only three months has been extraordinary as my spine responds to the yoga and Carolyn's knowledgeable teachings on postures done correctly and strengthening poses that bring a wholeness to the practice.
I love the savasana at the end of our class bringing the body and mind to rest that rejuvenates the Spirit.

Yoga in Tribeca is worth a try especially if you are interested in becoming aware of your body through yoga postures that enhance both flexibility and strength. Carolyn is one of the best instructors I have taken yoga classes with. She corrects postures frequently and develops your ability for postures in stages by increasing your strength and flexibility. Carolyn has a good understanding of the human body and works with each student at their level to prevent injury. Not only do I leave class feeling wonderfully relaxed and worked out, but I have seen marked changes in my flexibility and strength after three classes, because of proper positioning.
I will definitely be continuing with her classes.

This place was great! Today was my first experience with this location.
The teacher was serious about the class. She modeled the moves we were to
do, monitored and helped with form, and held us to high expectations. This
helped me stay focused, put forward my best effort, and maximize my
workout. The gym is well-maintained. The overall experience is nice and
relaxing.

I really enjoy these classes. The trainer, Carolyn, is very nice and she
has a lot of knowledge about yoga. She helps us do the postures correctly
without hurting ourselves. The studio is amazing and it has everything to
work out properly. It is available all the props that you need to do the
exercises. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable, it is perfect to do
yoga. It is great!

I had been practicing yoga on and off for a few years before I started taking classes with Carolyn. I find her to be a very thorough teacher, who takes great care to see that every one in the class has the help they need.
I have had lower back pain for years, but it wasn’t until I started using the particular techniques Carolyn teaches, that I found a way to make my back feel better. If I do the exercises she has suggested regularly in the morning when I get up, my back feels better all day. She cares deeply about her students and always tries to find ways to help them. Many people in the classes, besides me, have various problems with their knees, hips and other injuries. She always seems to know what would be good for them to do or not to be doing. I have only heard glowing conversations about her from long term students. I know that there are people who have been studying with her for many years.
