Love the classes, and the sauna, the free parking is like the icing on the cake.

Amazing pools! Can be there all day till 10pm, not many YMCA's do that!

This location is clearly an oasis in the Bronx. I love it. The staff treat the members like family.

I've been a member for several years and mostly use the gym. The gym has so much to offer, I often wish I had the time to take some classes, especially the spinning class and the Zumba class. The pools are a great addition. The best part if the location, on the Long Island sound in the Bronx. Great peaceful views while you're running and doing cardio. I love the free parking and the grassy picnic areas too. There is a lot to this gym, including the summer camp and an hour of free child care for parents who want to work out. The crowd is mixed, lots of retired folks, young folks, mid aged folks, etc. The center has a wonderful mix of people making it culturally diverse as well. Super clean too, I love that. Only complaint is that they run out of wet towelettes/dry paper towels often... I like to wipe the machines down after each use and most folks at the gym do the same which is nice to see.

Spend at least 5 days a week here, feels like a hangout more then a gym, but with everyone getting it in. Awesome staff and plenty of activities for the community.
