I work for a mortgage company and tried to get a verification of rent. Not only did he lie repeatedly about who he was but he ignored my emails, my messages, my calls and very rudely hung up on me. It is his JOB to provide these documents.
Never in my line of work have I ever been treated this way when asking for very standard documentation. Our borrowers lost their house because of his lack of response :-(
