World of Discovery Day Camp

Words cannot describe how much I love this camp! I have been a camper for ten years since I was four years old. The camp has become a second family to me, and I have gained so many friends throughout the years.

Last year was my son's first experience with summer camp. He was 6 years old and a little bit apprehensive about starting, and to be honest, so was I.
My husband and I were so happy we gave it a shot! Our son absolutely loved it!! By the 3rd day he was bouncing out of bed in the morning and rushing down the stairs to get on the bus! Everyday was a new adventure. He made great friends, and always came home with a story from the days adventure.

The counselors were awesome. Whenever I had a question or concern my call was addressed quickly, competently and politely. I would even get a call if he scraped his knee. They didn't even want me to wonder why he had a band aid. Needless to say, we are signing him up for his second summer.

There's something to say about how World of Discovery is run. They take so much pride in what they do and no worry is to small or to big when it comes to your child. I felt that my son was in safe hands. That meant everything to me. He always came home with a smile :)

It's hard to believe how time flies. 18 years ago, I attended World of Discovery Day Camp. It was my first camp experience and I had the best summer. I remember thanking my parents for sending me. Now, 18 years later, it was my turn to decide where to send my daughter in the summer since I had to return to work. I checked on World of Discovery Day Camp and I was so excited that Steve and Paul were still the directors! The camp has so many special trips, activities, and amazing events. My daughter loves it!! She loves her division and all her counselors. I'm so excited for her. Thanks guys for years of giving my family a home every summer.

My daughter will be attending for her 4th summer this year. She loves WOD, and always has a great time. The counselors are great, she's always well taken care of. Trips are fun, and the door to door service is impeccable. We have a rotating schedule due to joint custody, and she's always gotten where she needs to be. At World of Discovery, she has a great summer experience every time that leaves her talking about her summer for weeks after it's ended.

I'm not the type to write a review but I wanted to give credit to World of Discovery Day Camp. This will be the 3rd summer my children are attending camp. I'm a very over protective mother and I know that my kids are safe at camp, which allows me to go to work with a clear head every morning knowing that they are in good hands. Both my children love the trips and the staff. Overall WOD is a great camp !
