i go there in the am. its quiet and I have the place almost all to myself. I like it

DISGUSTING!!! I used to go to this gym for a little more than a year. After the North Bergen gym was shut down, all the equipment was moved to this one, literally leaving a thin trail for people to walk through. Everyone from North Bergen came & the place would be packed. It always smelled like pure armpits, humidity, McDonald's, & I don't know how but it eventually started smelling like ONIONS. The people who go there? That's the worst. I'm Hispanic & all, but the people going there are the "low life" spics, those who look like drug dealers, & lot of them are creepy Central Americans who say dirty things as you pass by... that is not classy! You can't even walk in a tight outfit or else it'll be worse. & one white guy, not a spic! a creepy white guy who looked like a drug dealer on steroids was following me around twice... can you say scary. The place & the equipment is hardly ever clean. My mom, my cousin (who still goes there), & other people have gotten skin infections, mostly on their faces... looking like pimples, but it was worse. Someone even had the infection reach her lungs & had to go to the hospital. I remember when I used to take the Zumba classes, there was NO air conditioning most of the time & the mirrors & the floor, yes I said the FLOOR, would be covered in sweat yuck!! The cheapskate of the owner never replaced his stereo equipment, which would always have problems, for a new one, & I have been told they are using one of the members' stereo... really? I have never been so appalled by a gym, a really nasty one. I never used the tanning beds there... if people get infections at the gym in general, I don't even wanna imagine what kind of bacteria is lurking inside a tanning bed there. The only reason my mom and I stayed a bit longer was because of Linda, the Zumba instructor, who is AMAZING... & it's actually a shame that she's still there, when she really deserves to be at a more upscale & clean gym because she's that good of an instructor. Take my word for it, don't EVER go to this gym... you will be disappointed & disgusted... get your workout services elsewhere.

I..... I can't even make fun of this gym because it would actually make me feel bad because the list wouldn't stop..... PLEASE WORLD do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else idc how far another gym is or how expensive it is... Im honestly debating on calling the bank and tellin them that I lost my credit card so i can get a new card so they won't take money out because I can't take this place anymore... and im locked in till june -_- would rather have a bill through collections than go here anymore, besides by the time my credit matters(im 19 lol) this place will probably be shut down anyway...

I like the gym so close of my house and the price, people who speak bad simple don't go, there are many more around, the only downside is the hours of child care should be to one pm I work at night and is hart for me to weak up early to get those hours, why in the summer close early ? is when most people go to the gym, but i give 4 good gym and clean and a lot machines

Gym needs to be more diligent in equipment repairs. The people who go here are good comedy and love talking. Not really a bad club but could improve with new ownership.
