Woofy Pet

We have taken our dog Kumo to Woofy Pet for grooming with Mina now for years. They do an excellent job with him and he always comes back with a haircut as requested. His groomer, Mina is very good with our dog and we can tell he genuinely likes her and her kind demeanor. Reading through some of these other reviews, I can't help but laugh. You buy a dog and then realize later that your daughter is allergic and it's Woofy Pets fault? Nice parenting, you would think any intelligent person would make sure their child is not allergic prior to making such a large life decision. And buying a sick dog? Ok, but I find it hard to believe if you took it to the vets immediately like any normal person would do and found out there was an issue immediately, they would have taken it back. You should be fair and mention how long you had the dog before you realized it was sick, how are they to know u didnt get it sick?

Would I recommend Woofy Pet for grooming? 100% yes. Since I would only purchase a dog from a breeder, I cannot speak to purchasing a dog here. The staff is always very nice and courteous to us, and his grooming is completed in the specified time for the most part.

Is it pricey? Yes, but so is everything else along River Road in Edgewater.

Caution worst customer service experience!! I ordered a dog tag and they notified me it would take a week to arrive. The week went by and I called several times and they kept telling me they will check and call me back. They never called me back and every time I did they would give me the same excuse. I never write reviews but I had to on this horrible customer service experience so others won't experience what I am. I will be going to any other pet store but there from now on.

Woofy Pet is the worst place of all !

My dog was there for grooming last weekend and she came back home with thrTHREE STITCHES on her leg!!!!

The staff was unfriendly and the way they handled the situation is so unprofessional which I will never go back to this place.

While I was on the phone looking for the owner, the one of the staffs were upset on me and start arguing with me. That is not acceptable!!!

Took dogs in for grooming. Specified puppy cut, when I went to pick them up they where completely shaved. I did not even recognize them. If I wanted them to look horrible I could have done that myself. Never again expensive and awful. Its just as well because I do not like to do business with people that support puppy mills. The poor dogs they sell some have been stuck there for months.

WORST PLACE EVER TO HAVE YOUR DOG GROOMED! DOES NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!!

I just moved to edgewater and dropped off my dog for grooming. They gave me a specific price for grooming a small dog. Then, when I went to pick up my dog, they charged extra for "detangle" fee- which never happened to me before.

NOT ONLY THEY DID NOT EXPLAIN THIS FEE IN THE BEGINNING, THEY JUST DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO EXPLAIN WHY. They simply said that the price is what I need to pay since the groomer had such a hard time. OH COME ON! THAT IS WHY I TAKE MY DOG TO THE GROOMING FACILITY and THAT IS WHY I AM PAYING MONEY TO GET MY DOG GROOMED. It's just ridiculous how uncaring cashiers and manager were about this situation. They obviously does not want any more business with me and many people I know.

Just for information for who will be reading this entry: I have groomed at many other place before, and this place is NOT WORTH PAYING FOR. My dog was pretty as USUAL after she was groomed, meaning, my old place (which is 15 minutes away from edgewater) did same quality of work and the price difference is around $30 dollars.
