Woodcleft Crabshack

The food is ok, but the staff is extremely rude. They didn't want to give us condiments for our food, they got upset because we asked a question about the food and then began to rush us. Terrible customer service. Will never go there again.

I have pre sandy review and recent (2014) review, both not good. pre sandy went there during the winter and ordered clam chowder...I wanted the WHITE one... no one remembers which is which, new england or manhattan. anyway got the red and told waitress I wanted the WHITE clam chowder. she tells me she cannot take it back and she cannot take it off the bill... annoyed, I said please bring the WHITE chowder. so staring at red chowder the rest of the dinner on my table, left 0 tip.mind you, this is winter time...nautical mile arrogance in full force even with empty dining room....recent trip early springtime 2014 no one there.... hard working waitress was helpful and nice.. food decent but overpriced.. updated dining room felt like an old sailors restaurant on the end of a pier....cool if you like that stuff, but this is tourist attraction area....not my cup of tea

Let's start with there is no alcohol!!! So I had a lemonade. The salad was bagged salad. The side of linguine my wife ordered had tons of oil left at the bottom. The fries were frozen. The fish was bland, salt and pepper needed!! Waitress was nice but it doesn't make up for the majorly lacking food. Oh yeah It's called the crab shack so I was originally hoping to choose from multiple crab dishes....There was 1 on the specials menu. Overall I couldn't agree more with the other reviewer, let's put in a little effort crab shack. If we all wanted to come out for frozen food we wouldn't bother coming out we would go to the frozen section of the supermarket.

This place is overpriced and the food is compatable with fast food chains like mcdonalds. We got shrimp scampi which was basically just a big plate of oil. It made me feel sick for the next 24 hours. There are so many better places on the mile, dont choose this one.

Frozen not fresh at all. I ordered the flounder meal. Salad was bagged salad. The mixed vegetables were mushy, and obviously frozen from a bag. The flounder was tasteless. I still had coffee and dessert to go. Even the coffee was weak. I'm not a huge coffee drinker and it wasn't great. The apple pie (which we asked for warmed), was partially cold and had a slimy white goo inside of it. Most likely from being frozen. Let's put in some effort, Crab Shack. This was a huge disappointment. Put a little care into your restaurant and your customers.
